On Grid

An on-grid solar system, also known as a grid-tied or grid-connected system, is connected to the utility grid. It generates electricity from solar panels and feeds excess power back into the grid. During periods of low sunlight or high demand, electricity can be drawn from the grid. This system does not typically include battery storage.
